Announcement: Pamp Network Staking, Token Swap, and Exchange Listing!

If you have already done this before, our apologies, you will have to do it again. We had to rework the token swap to make sure it would work for everyone. You need your old tokens in MetaMask to use this. There are many Ethereum wallets out there that may work with this, but Metamask has been tested and confirmed working.

First thing’s first: In order to enable staking, we had to make several updates to the way staking is going to work. This required a redeployment of the token smart contract, and thus we are now doing a token swap!

Swapping tokens is simple. Visit our website at https://pamp.network and you will see two buttons under “TOKEN SWAP.” First, click “Approve (click first)” and Metamask will pop up and ask you to send the transaction. Wait until this transaction confirms on the network. Now click “Swap (click second).” When it confirms, you will notice that you now have the same amount of new PAMP tokens, and your old PAMP tokens have been burnt.

You will notice that there are only 3 million tokens in total supply. Surprise! We have no need for the 7 million tokens that we held, since they were going to be burnt anyways, so we have decided not to move them over to the new token.

That means that all of the 7 million tokens that were not allocated for have now been burnt.

Secondly, with the new contract , staking is now live! We expect the first rewards to be available Sunday. All you have to do to stake is to purchase some tokens and leave them in a Metamask wallet and wait. On Sunday, you should be able to claim your first rewards. We will write another Medium post that goes into more depth about the dynamics soon.
